$2,000 REWARD:
Find Cinnamon the Lost Horse
Mt. Washington Wilderness, OR

Cinnamon, a 24-yr-old gelding, in the tack he was wearing when he disappeared on August 4, 2025
$2,000 REWARD
MAJOR UPDATE!!
Cinnamon's saddle was found on Monday, Oct 20. This greatly increases the chances he is alive. Here are the important coordinates:
The snow is here.
What does this mean? McKenzie Hwy 242 is closed for the season to cars and bicycles. It is open to snowmobiles, skiers, hikers, and equestrians. It is 5 miles from Dee Wright Observatory to the Hand Lake and Benson/Tenas Lakes trailheads. As long as it doesn't get too cold, and as long as he has access to grass and water, and has escaped injury, Cinnamon can survive.
Our updated request:
If you do any of these activities, or can share this page with someone who does, we can really use your help sharing this page to these communities! If he's alive, Cinnamon could have traveled some distance, perhaps 10 miles from Scott Mountain (44.240622, -121.915142) in any direction, perhaps more:
Look for a horse! Photo above. Look for horse poop, hoofprints, discarded tack. Catch him if you can, and can do so safely. Send GPS coordinates and photos to the text number below.
$2,000 REWARD for:
Missing since August 4th, 2025 after he bolted from Benson Lake in the Mt. Washington wilderness in Central Oregon. There are so many things I still wanted to show him. I would do anything to bring him home or to find closure. He is a retired lesson horse that meant the world to so many people, and he is very loved and dearly missed. No new signs of him have been found since August 8th. I am devastated everyday and am desperate for closure.
If by some miracle he has been found and kept by someone, I would be more than happy to negotiate his return, no questions asked. Cinnamon is very loved and very missed.
